A bit back we had a post about the Westbrooks BBQ RV.
The Slambassdor has submitted a photo of the establishment:

Thanks for posting the photograph and message about
the slambassador. I've seen it on a few occassions on my way home from work. The driver was always in transit, same time each time. Now I know the story.

Everett & Jones (Jack London Sq) SUCKS! The undercooked meat, lukewarm side dishes, and slow service is a disgrace to Beast dining. Shameless tourist trap.

Been dragged there a couple times, and found the service to be awful and the food only okay. The one in central Berkeley was good the one time I tried it, though -- could just depend on the chef and servers.
I'm fond of Chef Edwards (20th+San Pablo, Oakland), mostly because one can order a "piggly wiggly". Zero ambience, unless you like someone slamming a cleaver down on meat a few feet from you (separated by a window).
